未来時制

will + base verb / am-is-are going to + base verb

説明

English does not have one special future tense form. It often uses "will" or "be going to" instead.

For example, "I am going to visit Kyoto next week." Here, "am going to" shows a plan, "visit" is the main action, and "next week" tells us the future time. Use "will" for a decision now, an offer, or a prediction, like "I will help you." Japanese often uses the same verb form for present and future, so English needs these extra words to show time.

例文

  • I will call you tonight. 今夜、電話します。
  • We are going to visit Osaka next month. 私たちは来月、大阪を訪れる予定です。
  • Will it rain tomorrow? 明日は雨が降りますか。
  • She will not come to the party. 彼女はパーティーに来ません。
  • I am going to study after dinner. 夕食のあとで勉強するつもりです。
  • The train leaves at 7:30. その電車は7時30分に出発します。

よくある間違い

Japanese learners often say "I am go to Tokyo tomorrow" or "I go to Tokyo tomorrow" for a future plan. Use "I am going to Tokyo tomorrow" or "I will go to Tokyo tomorrow." Also, do not use "will to". The verb after "will" is the base form, so "I will to go" is wrong; "I will go" is correct.
